As an admitted attorney, notary, and conveyancer, Clinton brings over 15 years of extensive legal experience to the firm. After a successful career as a partner at a prominent law firm, where he provided legal advice to several South African banks, financial service providers, small- and medium-sized entities and private and public entities, he established Lang Attorneys Inc. to create a practice that prioritises client relationships and delivers quality legal service with a personal touch. His expertise spans multiple areas of law, allowing him to provide comprehensive support to both individuals and businesses. With a reputation for excellence and integrity, Clinton guides our firm through complex legal matters with clarity and confidence.
Carla Lang
Senior Associate: Head of Conveyancing
BCom Law, LLB
Carla, known for her approachable nature, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, runs the Conveyancing Department at our firm. She and her team guide clients through what is often one of the most important milestones in their lives – the buying or selling of a home or investment property.
She believes that conveyancing is about far more than documents and processes; it is about people, trust, and clear communication. She strives to make every client feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their property journey.
Working closely with sellers, purchasers, estate agents, banks, and municipalities, Carla oversees transactions from the signing of the Offer to Purchase right through to final registration in the Deeds Office. She understands the pressures and deadlines involved in property matters and is committed to keeping clients updated every step of the way.
Family is very important to Carla. When she is not at the office, she is a devoted mom of three and the owner of her online children’s bookshop, www.kouekoffieboeke.co.za, which reflects her love for children’s literature. Her passion for both family and business are evident in the care, dedication, and energy she brings to her clients and her work at Lang Attorneys.
Chelsea Lee Swanepoel (Hartle)
Senior Associate: Litigation
LLB, LLM
Chelsea obtained her LLB (2013) and LLM in International Law (2015) from Stellenbosch University. She completed her articles in 2018, where she gained valuable experience and exposure in both commercial and general litigation.
Following her admission, Chelsea broadened her professional experience outside of traditional legal practice by joining a South African start-up fashion brand, WEEF, as Operations Manager and Legal Advisor. During this time she travelled internationally to trade shows in Austria, France, Russia, and the United Kingdom, gaining valuable insight into business operations and international markets.
Chelsea returned to legal practice in February 2020, joining a law firm as a Litigation Consultant. She later advanced to the role of Director and Head of the Litigation Department at an all-female-led firm in August 2024, where she specialised in lease disputes and evictions.
In March 2026, Chelsea returned to her Northern Suburbs roots and joined Lang Attorneys in Durbanville as a Senior Associate. She practises as a general litigation attorney, with particular expertise in lease disputes and evictions, and has further expanded her practice to include liquidation matters.
Chelsea is known for her bubbly personality and quick-thinking mind, bringing both energy and sharp insight to her work. She approaches each matter with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a solution-driven mindset, making her a valued member of the Lang Attorneys team.
Amiera Mustapha
Litigation Secretary
Amiera, a key and valuable member of our team, is highly organized, with over 5 years of legal administrative experience in litigation. She is known for her excellent communication skills and excelling in high-pressure environments while managing multiple priorities such as handling correspondence and assisting with document preparation.
Her organisational skills, discretion, and client-focused approach reflect the values of our firm: trust, care, and professionalism in every interaction. Amiera is always willing to go the extra mile.
Belinda Odendaal

Belinda Odendaal, a valued member of our team, is our trusted Conveyancing Secretary with 35 years of experience in the legal profession. She believes in clear and open communication and takes care to keep all parties well informed throughout the conveyancing process.
Belinda has extensive experience managing transactions from start to finish and approaches each matter with care and a strong sense of responsibility. Simonne van Zyl is the friendly face and first point of contact at Lang Attorneys. Simone is responsible for managing incoming calls, welcoming clients, and providing essential administrative support to the team.
